Our tight-knit team in Cornelius is actively seeking a Production Specialist to join us full-time. Our Production Specialist is primarily responsible for operating various machines and equipment to print and finish both cut sheet and large format products.

WHAT WE EXPECT OF YOU:
  • Read Work Orders carefully to determine instructions and specifications for each job; seek clarification if necessary
  • Inspect products at each step to ensure compliance with job specifications and correct any imperfections
  • Set up and operate production equipment such as digital presses, inkjet printers, cutters, stitchers, punches, drills, folders, and creasers
  • Inspect, maintain, and calibrate equipment according to maintenance schedules
  • Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions or to determine whether adjustments are needed
  • Maintain records, such as daily production records, using specified forms
  • Prepare finished products for shipping or delivery
  • Maintain work areas in a clean, organized, and safe condition at all times
  • Other essential functions as needed to provide the highest quality customer service and product output
 
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:
  • The ability to apply Critical thinking using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
  • The ability to communicate information and ideas in speaking so that others will understand.
  • The ability to apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense.
  • The ability to arrange things or actions in a certain order or pattern according to a specific rule or set of rules (e.g., patterns of numbers, letters, words, pictures, mathematical operations).
  • The ability to imagine how something will look after it is moved around or when its parts are moved or rearranged.

Compensation: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
